Cyril Verdavainne

Cyril Verdavainne is a New York based painter and sculptor. Born in Casablanca, Morocco, Verdavainne attended the Centre International De Valbonne as well as Blake College and Central Saint Martins. He graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2001.

The artist started with figurative pencil studies of the human body but since he focuses on his conceptual work and produces sculptures with use of color pigments.

For the first time, Cyril Verdavainne is sharing with his collectors, his monochromes sculptures with color pigments. The monochromes focus on single, primary colors.  The monochrome is widely viewed as pure painting because it reduces the art form to its theoretical limit of a single color that's uniformly dispersed against a backdrop.
